What she said, right down the line...It takes time to get something going that isn't what people expect. I think this has a shot, if you can build the right anticipation for each one...maybe do em once a month, and set a schedule of them for a bit...

Do NOT fucking quit yet, dude. Seriously.

Yes, you're probably right, the 'friendships' you've lost in the scene have hurt you, but honestly I dont think that was the problem on Friday night. I think the problem was that you still dont have a straight up, this is what we're going to talk about format, nor do you have a dynamic on the stage that clicks and makes people want to say, 'I gotta see this guy again' AND I'm sorry, but you dont have a set schedule yet. To do it one time on a saturday, then 2 weeks later on a sat., then over a month later on a friday, and now the next one (may be) on a Tuesday in the summer...its confusing, its not consistent and that's a big problem right there.

Also, I feel that, no offense to you or Eric, but, if you get people up there like Bassey, who has a pretty large fanbase, and Omar, who is best when he is not censoring himself, I think you can really DO something with this and people will keep coming back.
