Omar: Um...yeah, you kinda did, didn't you? Maybe I was thinking of it in terms of it being a specific department? Dunno.

Anonymous: Miller actually mentioned there were other shops in Richmond proper, but for some reason Diamond's Locator didn't list any of them. You might want to mention that next time you visit them as I'm sure I'm not the only business they've potentially lost because of it.

"When we returned home, I emailed Miller for an interview, and thus was born Comic Book Commentary's first Retailer Spotlight." Ummm... Dear Mr. Editor Sir... Ummm... Didn't I already do one?

FYI, for the next time you visit, while Richmond Comix is certainly one of the best (if not the best) shops in town, there are others in Richmond proper. Stories is a chain of four shops, with a decent selection of indies, but an AMAZING back issue selection. Unfortunately, they also sell porn, but it's segregated away. Another shop worth a visit is Velocity Comics downtown, which has a great selection of TPBs and indies, as well as one of the most helpful staffs around. Plus, the owner puts out his own comics through OddGodd Press.
