No love for McCain at all, but I'd be seriously tempted to take my chances with him over another Clinton presidency if he picked a strong VP. A McCain/Obama ticket will never happen, of course, but the McCain/Bloomberg ticket I floated a little while ago has the potential to offer a serious challenge to whatever ticket the Dems come up with, even one with Obama at the top of it.

Still the love for McCain? He'll keep us in Iraq for HOW many years? No, we can't do that John! I'm glad to see the future of the primaries spelled out. There is little Hilary can do to prevent Obama from wining! I voted for him in Missouri and donated twice! I say, lets have a President we can look up too! I don't want a grandpa, and I want a change from the Bush/Clintons.

McCain-Obama. Interesting, but I think we have a better shot at seeing Osama bin Laden elected pope.

I highly doubt it as it would pretty much guarantee McCain wins. If anything, if Clinton does pull off the nomination somehow, I'd love to see McCain pick Obama to be his VP and have them completely rewrite the playbook for November. McCain gets to be the ultimate Maverick while Obama gets to truly embody the message of change and is pretty much guaranteed to run as the incumbent in 2012.

You think Obama could/should run as an independent should this bullshit Clinton campaign continue?
