Company Man
I’ve signed up for my company’s co-ed softball team.
I was on the reserve list and got the word yesterday afternoon that I was next on the list to move up to the main roster. Too late to attend last night’s scrimmage, though, so I have no idea what position I’ll be playing – preferably 3rd base or center field. Based on some screwy league rules…10 fielders with mandatory boy/girl assignments and batting order, AND boy home runs are automatic outs!…it probably won’t matter much.
Talk about putting the SOFT in softball!
Hopefully there’s beer.
