"Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.Click on my bald head to see for yourself." Ohh that Lex! He's so funny when he screams. It made me laugh in agony. You on the other hand may have a different reaction. Perhaps you'll slouch in your chair after watching this trailer. While the first one released months ago left me wanting more, this latest effort deflated my expectations.Trailers can make shitty movies seem like good ones, and good movies seem great. So what do you have when you see a shitty trailer? I guess we'll have to wait till…

LINK: TCJ Breaks Taki Soma Story

Sex Scandal Involving CBLDF's Charles Brownstein Leads to Women's Empowerment Fund Some the Journal spoke with referred to the multiple perspectives on the events of the evening in question as a kind of Rashomon scenario, but in fact, the accounts the Journal has heard are much more compatible with one another than they are divergent. Honestly, I'm glad the Journal dug into the story and came forward with names, and don't begrudge them the "scoop" in the least. I've said in the past that PCS isn't really a news site and have felt that our reporting on this story exclusively,…

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

Ignoring the kind of luck it takes to catch only their second loss in 10 games, today's Mets game was a blast as Isaac and I -- along with evil Dan, Yankee fan and official bad luck charm! -- enjoyed some great weather out at Shea Stadium, decked out in sorta-matching Mets gear. While it wasn't his first baseball game, it's probably the first one he'll really remember, and it was definitely the first time he asked questions about how to play. He wasn't even one yet when we went to the first post-9/11 game, sleeping through Piazza's home run and…

COMMENT: Forest, Trees and Taki Soma

Things that are pissing me off right about now: 1) Tom Spurgeon's unnecessarily snarky and ill-informed commentary yesterday, which includes an ill-timed reference to old rumors about Friends of Lulu, and barely a cursory mention of the actual situation which precipitated the creation of the Empowerment Fund. 2) Heidi MacDonald's total lack of reference to Taki's coming forward, or the creation of the Empowerment Fund, and yet she posts about her "FIGHT!" with Spurgeon over his disparaging comment about Friends of Lulu. (UPDATE: Within minutes of this post, Heidi's comments on the situation went up.) 3) Elayne Riggs' hypocritical Reasons…
